Internet R.I.P.
The brief was to design a book that documented the classes favorite parts of the internet.
Everyone was asked to create a series of double page spreads on something from the internet they would miss if it were ever to ‘die. We were then asked to combine these pages into a printed book, in our choice of style.
My spreads were on two running themes, the copy related to a website on a series of vinyl figures I collected and the visuals were of pieces of basic code used within HTML. The book I wanted to make into a classical book, like a bible or old encyclopedia. I developed the book so it functioned as a normal book but it old could be unfurled into a long banner like piece of print.
