Typographic Postcards
This project was spawned from a previous project also involving postcards. This was a self indulgent piece of work where simply wanted to make some nice looking postcards in a easy fashion.
I started off with an A2 piece of water colour card, some black ink and a black pen. The plan was to splatter the ink over the card in a completely random fashion, and then craft areas of the splattered into characters.
The result was really unique and created some interesting visuals of letters. After crafting the letters I selected them with a postcard size frame and then cut them out. Lastly I made a cover for the set which kept them all together yet they could easily be removed from the pack and used.
