Lie Escape Hide
We were given a brief to create a series of postcards, badges and a 5 second video surrounding the idea of surveillance. I decided to explore the theory of someone trying to let others know they are being watched, without the watchers finding out.
By designing a basic and clean design for the postcard it gave a good canvas for adding something unique. I used a typewriter with both black and red ink to create cryptic messages on the back and the front of the postcards. I used the red ink to pick out the words ‘lie’ ‘escape’ and ‘hide’. The 5 second video was a close up of a typewriter typing out the same words.
